Lansberry Elementary School Home

Welcome to Lansberry Elementary! At Lansberry Elementary, you find dedicated educators who are here to serve the children of Trinity. At LES, we use the Daily 5 Framework for our English Language Arts instructional process. During the instructional process, you will see students actively engaged 80% of the time, while teachers are spending 20% of the time talking. Ask your child about stamina, IPICK, Read to Self, Work on Writing, Word Work, Read to Someone, Listen to Reading, and anchor charts just to name a few. You will also see much of this framework applied to math and all other subject areas, as it has been found that most people can only focus on a topic for 10-15 minutes at a time.
